frequently asked questions

How much are your lessons?

Our lessons start at $35 for a 30 minute private lesson and go up depending on the length of the lesson and the instructor's level of education and experience. All our lessons are paid a month in advance and the lesson tuition reserves your day and time. Some months allow for a fifth lesson per month. Those months the lesson tuition is higher.

Why are the lessons online only?

We value everyone's health and safety. Because of this and due to COVID 19, we are only teaching virtual piano and voice lessons. We are closely following the CDC Guidelines, and at this moment, online lessons are the safest way to conduct our music lessons business.

How do I enroll at your music studio?

When you are ready to enroll, email, text, or call us so we can find and day/time that works for both the instructor and you. Once we have a day/time that works, we will need your email address so we can send you an invoice through Square. Your payment secures your day/time with the instructor. We will also need you to fill up enrollment form and sign our studio policy before you start lessons.

Do you offer trial lessons?

We are happy to schedule a one-time trial lesson at the rate of the lesson length of your choice. This way you can experience the instructor’s style of teaching and decide if our studio is the right fit for you. The trial lesson needs to be paid the same day the appointment is made. All lessons are non-refundable.

What happens if I miss my lesson or if I have to cancel a lesson?

Activities such as family vacations, field trips, spring breaks, doctor and dentist appointments, and sports events do not qualify for a reduction in piano tuition. There is no reduction or adjustment in the lesson tuition as the tuition reserves your day and time. However, if you cancel 24 hours in advance, we will try to make up the lesson.

How do I discontinue (or take a break) from lessons?

We require a one month written notice (before the 5th of the month in order to count for the same month) to terminate lessons. A month payment is expected whether the student attends their last month or not.
